I’ve never seen a bigger example of the Dunning-Kruger Effect than Derp.
Can you draw a chart for derp on this? You know, for the less intelligent.

I already said they had little to nothing to do with the wars. My was at you contradicting yourself after your original stance was gibberish about the wars and opportunity cost.
I've made no contradictions there. Get a hold of yourself.

I already drew him a chart for this time period. He still hasn’t told me if he wants one for the 30s/40s.

Oh, so you think those numbers wouldn't have been no better without the wars, let alone 911?
Spending money on death and destruction is supposed to be better than the alternatives?
The financial crisis is more rooted in other corruption than the wars.
    Here’s your contradiction Derp.

You brought up the wars yourself ITT to deflect dubya's poor numbers, and now you're saying the wars were not the main factor.

Sort your thoughts, then string them together...
You're intentionally being vague in your recap.

I've said 911 and wars contributed to bad economic numbers? I doubt you disagree.
You're just jumping in desperate for a pretend w. Hard day at work?
It's the weekend though; plenty of time for you to get desperate, son. Save some humiliation for later.

You brought up the wars yourself ITT to deflect dubya's poor numbers [overall economy], and now you're saying the wars were not the main factor [later economic crisis].
Yes, that's what I'm saying. It somehow doesn't sound crazy when the full context is included. Again, cheap recaps only reflect poorly on you.

    Here’s your contradiction Derp.
That's not a contradiction just because you want to make leaps.

An underwhelming economy doesn't have to directly lead to a gigantic financial crisis, obviously.

Yes but obviously it did not work.

Use crayons with stick figures, simple word captions (e.g., good, bad), no numbers like for two year olds, but simpler.

    https://fortunly.com/statistics/us-g...ar-guide/#gref

In 1934, 1935 and 1936, GDP grew 10.8%, 8.9% and 12.9%, respectively, after 4 consecutive years of decline with Mr. austerity Herbert Hoover as president

The problem is that you just don't know what you're talking about.

Dubya's first term was actually fairly good economically (as seen in the chart Will posted above), and that was with 9/11 happening and the wars going on.

What did dubya's economy in was the subprime mortgage crisis, which frankly pre-dated his government, but he did nothing to control.

See Nono, any fool can understand this. Derp does and it reflects poorly on you for not being a fool.

    TRY HARDER (caps for emphasis).

There was a big drop in GDP in 2001 (dot com bursted, was still a positive GDP growth), if that's what you're asking... but from 2001 to 2004, the economy grew from 1% to almost 4%.

EDIT: what recap did I miss? The posts are still here and the previous page.

How did this not stop the Depression from returning in 37 and 38 (-3.3 % GDP)?
    FDR cut spending too soon.
