The Lakers’ LeBron James just passed Tim Duncan for all-time playoff wins. He did so graciously, saying, “It’s just always surreal for me when my name is associated with any of the greats.” Surpassing Duncan certainly does put James in good company—it is awesome to hear him speaking highly of a fantastic Spurs player whom he battled on the court over the years.

The West was a nightmare through most of Duncan's career. The East was mostly full of doormats, with a few exceptions.

I give Nike credit for furthering his brand. They are the same company that created Air Jordan. You know Nike actually created "The more than an athlete movement" that Lebron uses to prop himself up on. Nike is like Hollywood they will always find a new star to create a mega brand for. When Lebron retires we will see another guy get branded by Nike. I actually would be more impressed if he could have created his own brand without Nike.
