Chumpettes
Probably why god punished him with COVID-45, tbh
He condemned them immediately after Charlottesville.
"You had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides. ... I saw the same pictures as you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name. ... So you know what, it's fine. You're changing history. You're changing culture. And you had people — and I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the White nationalists, because they should be condemned totally"
The should be condemned totally but he didn't actually condemn them at all.
But, that "good people on both sides" bs narrative had to be pushed
He doesn't want to lose the racist vote.
You guys are his base.
And this dumb narrative had so much traction, that I think Biden went to it in the debate, IIRC.
Who could tell with your Trump melting down at every other word?
The Charlottesville Tiki Torch people were white nationalists and neo-nazis. He should have condemned all of them and he didn't. Instead he said "neo-nazis and white nationalists should be condemned" as a way of obfuscating.
and I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the White nationalists, because they should be condemned totally
Am I missing something?
The part where he actually condemns them.
Yes:
- "Should be condemned" means they haven't been condemned and is not a direct statement condemning them. It's Trump's usual obfuscating attempt to thread the needle by giving his surrogates a soundbite they can use to say he condemned them while it doesn't piss off his white supremacist supporters because he's not actually condemning them.
- Who was he talking about as "very fine people" if he wasn't talking about white nationalists and neo-nazis? It was a white nationalist march. They were chanting "the Jews will not replace us!" If he wasn't talking about those people as fine people, who was he referring to?
If a fat person says "I should go on a diet and lose a bunch of weight totally" does that mean the fat person has actually gone on a diet and lost a bunch of weight?
Excellent response, you really showed me!
He should show you.
I'm probably not going to get a specific answer on who Trump referred to as very fine people, am I?
You should be getting one.
And the Chumpettes assure us that the same people who boldface lie about the news can be trusted on polls
didn't understand what you were saying at first
debunked
What about this nut was debunked? Here's his interviewing admitting how awful the picture looks.
At 18 seconds:
"I understand the photo is very bad looking"
