Threw a tantrum and that was that

Laura ingram was right after all

Look, I can't fault anyone for not wanting to give up MILLIONS, and I'm sure some of these guys didn't want to stop playing to begin with.

But all these guys yesterday who were literally saying "I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE", or "What are we really willing to give up" - where are they? So much for that. Money for mansions, cars, and rare Jordans are much more important.

Again, can't fault someone for voting one way or the other.

But, on the surface, the playoff boycot looks toothless and the optics of carrying more about their huge checks rather than equality and social justice is going to be a factor moving forward.

Taking the night off was good enough. That actually displays a tremendous amount of power for the players. The push to end the season was just unrealistic.

I gotta' side with hater here. The optics don't look good and the option of boycotting in the future seems toothless.

With that said, maybe the players and the owners came to an agreement to do more and it's not just about the paychecks.

To grab the headlines and give further attention to the Kenosha situation.

    You looked.

    It worked.

Talking about ending the season took it too far.

    Good enough for what?
They were able to get white athletes to boycott with them

America truly deserves better than these two self defeating demographics leading the way

Ending the season accomplishes nothing, the story is gone in less than a week and their voice is lost, shut up and dribble, blah blah blah. The statement made last night is historic in its own right

It'd be like if John Carlos and Tommie Smith boycotted the Olympics, nobody would know who the they are

I'd argue the worst part is all the ammo that will now be used against the NBA players and their movement. Even less people may take them seriously now. It's unfortunate.

Again, hopefully more comes out like the owners agreeing they should do more themselves.
