Yes, but they wanted to cancel the rest of the season and thats why everyone said it would kill the NBA. Players got the message that their bottom lines would be impacted if they quit the season so they voted to play the games. But if they had cancelled the season in protest as they first planned, NBA would be in financial trouble big time.
