I have never thought of this until just now. Had we succeeded in landing a top 3 pick, would that have impacted our 2nd round pick? In other words would our 2nd round pick also be top 3? My gut says no, that the lottery has no impact on the order of 2nd round picks, but I want to ask those who have a greater knowledge of the draft than myself.

No, the secound round did not change because of some mooves in the first round.
