Well he better start picking it up early or they're going to lose this series.
Agreed. He waited to long tonight

Heat miss 15 straight 3's. Maybe jacking up 3's when they're not falling - against a team that has no center or interior defense - isn't a winning strategy?
Granted, no one has post-up skills anymore, so keep firing away.

Nurse has done a lot with not much.
Stevens has had a talented but young team in the ECF in 2 of the last 3 years with injuries to Kyrie and Hayward ...plus he runs some of the best SLOB and BLOB plays.
Nurse won a chip with a former choker like Lowry and a new one like Kawhi
Seriously? The unethical snake was handed a superstar in his first season and though he didn't have one in his second, he still had everything but: Stars, depth, chemistry, continuity, athleticism, size, 6 of the top 7 in their prime and a top 8 of 3 and D.

The Celtics won a coin flip series with the Raptors. Two years ago, they were fortunate the Cavaliers and Raptors were on the other side of the bracket, leaving them to face the ill-fitting 76ers.

Last season's Raptors also had unmatched urgency. Lowry, Gasol, Ibaka had been on good teams that couldn't get over the hump and knew that was their one chance. The Warriors were also decimated by injury.

I think they are good just not as good as Spo RC Pop ...even if they are overrated still think they are better than the con man Doc Rivers which will use BLM and this new doc about Sterling to paint himself as the "woke" coach when he has-been anything but for decades.

Nurse and Stevens (he's likeable though) are overrated, run of the mill hacks, who wouldn't receive more than a modi of the credit they do if they were black.

We were discussing coaching, not your personal feelings about Rivers.

I am too. I pointed out the great blob and slob plays that Stevens runs in his sets. And that Nurse impressed me by doing more with less this season. They also run some good defense concepts too. With past their primes bugs like Fat Gasol and Ibaka and a midget backcourt.

So does Rivers. Nurse didn't do more with less, that was just the narrative his media buddies fed to the masses. As I explained, he had everything but a superstar. They ran grade school defenses that "worked" because he has elite defensive personnel, including two of the rare small guards who are not only not liabilities, but plus defenders. Also, Ibaka probably just had his best season.

HeatRefs came to play. They'd be down nine if not for some key calls.

SMH. These three positions in the third to last minute.

A cheap foul on Haywood fighting the screen.
Dragic hooks Hayward to open himself for the layup.
A travel on Tatum that they'd never call in a million years if it was Lebron.

That said, Celts shot their own foot again for much of this.

    No, they looked like trash.

Celts should be 2-2 in this series at least.

This is one of my favorite Heat teams ever. Herro is untouchable going forward. Special player who just passed D-Wade for the most playoff points by a rookie for the Heat

Hayward has yet to recover his pre-injury burst. The latest injury took his fitness.
That said, the C's are best when he's on the court.
Brad Stevens is loyal to Kemba Walker to a fault right now. Probably cos he knows if he does anything, it'll hurt chemistry for the next season.

And it could've been 4-0. Bucks were out of games.

Miami is the real deal imo . They defend well, have many shooters, have multiple guys who can dribble and create ,

    they are definitely a problem
