Jokic is a great player but AD, McGee, and Howard are going to beat the out of him on both ends of the court.

Jokic had no trouble against Gobert and Zubac, who are better than McGee/Howard. Davis is soft as himself, but both him and Jokic will put up numbers.

Would be hilarious if the Nuggets pulled a ‘11 Mavs

I think he meant the rotation can wear Jokic out

Lebron is like Mayweather he takes early games/rounds off only to destroy them later

gonna give these nuggets a game. they got heart tbh.

but this be like that houston series.

lakers on a whole new level in the playoffs. no fukkery allowed.

lakeshow in 5. we got legit bigs that can beat and tire jokic.

lebron gonna son murray and unlike doc, vogel a real defensive coach.

Correct, the Lakers bigs will wear out Jokic and Rondo/Green/Carusco will wear on Murray. Just seems like a very easy 4-0 sweep. But I've been impressed by the Nuggets!

thinking dwert and McGee will limit Jokic at all. The Lebron/Davis PnR will be difficult for him, but he'll get his on offense. Lakers' ty depth hasn't been a problem for them so far since the Guests/Rockets weren't deep themselves but that'll change this series. Denver's guards are about to have a field day.

All that being said Denver may only win a game since they haven't had any rest in weeks. Also like I said the Davis/Lebron PnR might be impossible for them to guard.

Not limiting him, but wearing him out

Riley used that tactic against great centers and it worked occasionally

Would love to see the Nuggets pull off the upset but won't get greedy after what they did to the Clippers. Hoping they can make this a series that goes beyond 5 games.

It worked back in the day when the game went through the post. The Lakers aren't gonna post up dwert or McGee against Jokic and neither is a threat offensively outside lobs/rim running. This series will also allow Denver to play Plumlee more to take pressure off Jokic on the defensive end.

Also need to take into account this is happening in the bubble where homecourt doesn't exist.

That's something that can bother Denver. Neither Utah or LAC had a big that could guard out on the perimeter like AD. He won't do much against Jokic but he can give Murray problems.

Not saying they can stop Jokic. But they have enough size to put on Jokic. I think Murray is more of a concern for them.
