If Drew Brees is the GOAT at one thing, it's lighting it up down 2 possessions.

Running Backs = minimal difference makers.

    O-Line = real heroes.

**Edit: just as I was writing it.
    only to an extent

Rugs making a difference without even needing to catch a ball. You always need a speedster in your roster.

unless it's egregious, someone gets tackled or hit in the head etc... refs gotta keep the yellow laundry in the hip pocket when the game is on the line. Ticky-tack, and Ruggs extended just as much as Gallup did against Ramsey tbh.

Realistically, Drew Brees at his peak was = 70% the player Aaron Rodgers was. 80% of the player Brady/Manning were.

Was hoping for a miss so we could see the Saints go down and score and go for 2 and win, like a reverse week 1 in 2016 in New Orleans tbh.

AFC west is lowkey more than decent, tbh. Before the season everybody was talking about how the Chiefs had a cake-walk division but the Raiders are going toe to toe with the Saints (supposedly a NFC juggernaut), the Chargers have a great defense and, if Herbert is for real, watch out, and the Broncos are also very compe ive despite having lost their first two games.
AFC South has been a pleasant surprise as well. Other than Houston (who had to play the 2 best teams in the AFC), they’ve all looked great ( ans) to compe ive (Jags, Colts). Houston will turn it around once the schedule gets easier but they look punchless without Hopkins.

Raiders clearly better tonight. Gruden and the offense outclassed Dennis Allen. Payton again goes away from the running game. And penalties.

It was awful. Down by 10 and he’s throwing check downs. He has no arm left. Bench him.

I doubt that's too different from other RBs around the league.
