How is this year's le an asterisk? This year's le is harder to win due to being in isolated environment with no home court advantage which is huge in the playoffs. Lakers worked hard to get the #1 seed all year long and it got taken away from them.

I like a lot of the previous answers to your question. I’ll also add that although injuries happen every year. The injuries this year are exceptional. We very well could have seen Brooklyn and golden state in the finals this year with Kirie, Durant, Curry, Thompson, green.
