Trump just help get more land. Some unneeded imo. We did pass to net exporters under Trump but the oil industry was already well underway. Actually the bust that just occurred with gas prices just helped make fracking more efficient. Tough on jobs though, this efficiency through better technology.

This why the debate doesn't help Trump and why perception is the biggest factor. The debate is really only source material for journalists and everyone knows they are shielding Biden.
