oh great, now Biden's campaign is back tracking and saying Biden doesn't want to phase oil out, just oil subsidies.

I take back everything I said, what a pussy.

Cant be done in 4 years. Or 8.

Biden will croak and long be dead for decades before it is actually phased out.
He's right at average life expectancy.

Which voters does Biden lose by saying he wants to phase oil out? Voters who think oil is vital and clean energy is the devil already vote Republican.
Very few because it’s on its way to much less significance. But it has taken smog and people choking themselves with their city air. The bigger picture is climate change which Trump s can’t handle because it’s a little more subtle. (No direct lung and breathing problems)

Probably worried about his chances in Texas. Texas is that close.

No one is phasing out oil, even if they say they will.

Yeah, these polls all align with how voters were already at. This debate didn't do much either way.

Petroleum will not be completely phased out in any of our lifetimes.
Too many engines need it. We can’t put people 100s of people in electric powered airplanes as an example. Big engines require petroleum. Cars... it’s on its way out. Quicker than we think.

    Trump will still win it.

How close do you expect Texas to end up being?

Oh yeah, I'm sure a voter in Texas who thinks the oil industry is very important will vote for Biden after he said he was going to phase oil out now. After all, his campaign staff made a statement afterwards back pedaling!

Biden is not trying to get the hardcore Texans like Darrin. He is looking to turn out the young voters and hispanics.

I don't understand this mentality of what's "necessary" or not. It's like you're scared that Joe Biden might take a position that deviates too much from the bland centrist establishment. Should he only propose raising the minimum wage from $7.25 to $7.50 since anything else is "unnecessary"?

It's just a regular link. I don't know what adblock has to do with it.

But it was some sh** on jet stocks. Didn't really read it.

Maybe I should have. They're probably value stocks long term in this economy.

Only four countries (US is one, go figure) have more wind power than Texas ( way ahead in US). Abbott has actually done a good job with this but probably won’t tout it because it’s too clean. The stuff we now have under construction will put Texas way out ahead. And the red team is doing a good jog of gridding it all up, but you won’t hear about it.

If we're being honest people in Pennsylvania obsessed with keeping their fracking jobs are uneducated and lazy welfare queens. They're scared of their cheese getting moved so they want taxpayer oil subsidies that are required for their jobs to survive to remain in place.
