Cops escalating immediately to gratuitous violence?

It will cost their immune selves nothing, the adrenalin rush is wonderful vs all day boredom, and taxpayers will pay $Ms to the victim. They have the power to abuse, and abuse it they will.

Uh, that post wasn't about them being right or wrong, it was foreshadowing about a story they're supposedly running soon.

He's from Texas I think even San Antonio
You are correct... Lived in California for a while as well. If I am not mistaken, he use to work out with the spurs some on the practice squad. Dude is pretty big. Use to have a website company "Parscal Media" back in the 2000s here in SA

As I said they run lots of stories. Many of them debunked as fake

that tackle was entirely unnecessary tbh
Yeah, but it was actually quite professional. No harm, no foul.

No. And this is what I’m referring to as the problem. Were so desensitized to excessive force and brutality that as long as it doesn’t lead to injury, people will refer to the use of excessive force as being professional.

Maybe it was excessive but it wasn't brutal. Part of the problem is that we live in a country where so many people have guns that officers are always on edge about the possibility of being threatened by one. Brad's wife talked about how he had guns and was ranting and raving, so I assume the officer took that into consideration and wanted to arrest Brad without any possible confrontation beyond the clean good technique tackle. No harm, no foul.

If they were so worried about him being armed why was the first cop casually taking to him as parscale was approach him from the house holding a can of beer? That’s not how you would treat somebody suspected of being armed and dangerous. You would order him to keep his hands visible, get on the ground from the moment he walked out the door.

Neither did i ever describe this as “brutality” nor do i care to get into a semantic discussion. It was excessive and you’re ok with it as long as he wasn’t seriously hurt

Wonder if the wife/girlfriend provided some receipts to the Times and that's why he went Earl on her.
