He's actually right in a way, it's not in the way he thinks he is though. Demographic change is the key. The country is becoming more urbanized and more educated. Democrats recognize this and are looking to attract urban and suburban voters. What are republicans looking for? Non existent voting fraud.

The man knows his audience.
Tucker's job is to attract an audience. Voters don't matter to him, people who want to be told that democrats are evil do. He doesn't care if republicans win or lose. In fact it's to his benefit for republicans to lose. More democrats in charge means a larger and more upset republican audience looking for "the real news" that the evil media won't give them. It's the Rush Limbaugh model. Rush doesn't become nearly the influential figure he became if it wasn't for Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.

(Carl Schmitt does make a distinction between an enemy and a foe. An enemy is in principle an honorable adversary due consideration as such, as opposed to the foe, who can be removed from the field of play without remorse or scruple.)
