along with racism, Repugs have been and are the party of misognyny (eg, women are lying about rape)

Final insult: McConnell refused to let RBG lie in state in Capitol rotunda

the fury that Pelosi directs at McConnell for his refusal to allow the body of late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda following her death last year,

an honor that would have made her the first woman in history to have ever received such distinction.

Rather than acquiesce to Pelosi’s suggestion,

which required the approval of the Senate leader,

    McConnell was completely uncooperative,

“He wasn’t swayed by the argument that Ginsburg had achieved an iconic status in American culture, especially for women and girls.”

Kick a historic woman while she's down and dead.

What a brave, gallant, misogynist mother er is this KY asshole
You want Politicians swayed by pop culture?

    Yikes.

GOP leadership scrambles after 'nativist dog whistles' from the new 'White Nationalism Caucus'

some of the most extreme members of the House of Representatives formed a new caucus to support Angelo-Saxon heritage.

The caucus -- which has the support of Reps.

    Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and

    Matt Gaetz (R-FL)

    --
    has been
panned as a "White Nationalism Caucus."

GOP leadership scrambled to claim that the party once led by Donald Trump is not racist.

The Republican Party is the party of Lincoln

"Republicans believe in equal opportunity, freedom, and justice for all.

We teach our children the values of tolerance, decency and moral courage.

Racism, nativism, and anti-Semitism are evil.

History teaches we all have an obligation to confront & reject such malicious hate,"

Trump loyalists start ‘America First Caucus’ to promote U.S. as ‘uniquely Anglo-Saxon’

Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) and

Paul A. Gosar (R-Ariz.) are reportedly behind it,

with Reps. Barry Moore (R-Ala.) and

Louie Gohmert (R-Tex.) signed on as early members.

    Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.),

policy positions for the caucus includes nativist language and perpetuates the falsehood that there was widespread fraud and corruption in the 2020 election.

'You can't win anything nationally': Nicolle Wallace's panel tells GOP to stop being a slave to 'Trump cult'

Former DNI John Bolton's super PAC published polling data that he said proves

supporting President Donald Trump is a pathway to Republican losses.

While Trump's numbers are great for a Republican Party primary,

the GOP is slowly losing its voters outside of the most ardent Trump supporters.

Trash is a fraud, the head of Repug party of fraud

How The GOP Spent Millions To Make Right-Wing ‘Bestsellers’

news outlets have reported on the self-dealing, bulk-book buying tendencies of campaigns and Republican committees, that

help propel books by people from people like

    Sens. Mitch McConnell,
    Ted Cruz, and
    Tom Cotton,
    Rep. Dan Crenshaw, and
    cosmic embarrassment Donald Trump Jr.,

access to national best-seller lists. Being on a best-seller list—especially from one of the Republican proclaimed
fake news sites like the Washington Post or the New York Times,

can boost your sales further being the premiere advertisement for literature and nonfiction in the United States.

"Four party-affiliated organizations, including the Republican National Committee, collectively spent more than $1 million during the past election cycle mass-purchasing books written by GOP candidates, elected officials and personalities,

authors of books make serious money if they can get on best-seller lists off of royalties from hundreds of thousands of dollars in book sales.

One of the more well-publicized self-dealings in recent months was Texas's answer to intelligence,

Rep. Dan Crenshaw, whose book got a
$400,000 boost in sales from the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC).the Republican former Navy SEAL, who holds an elected office based almost entirely on the truly twisted Republican gerrymandering of a Texas district, was able to point to his best-seller status as proof of the popularity of his opinions.

Nicole Poole Franklin pleads guilty to hate crimes for running down children in Des Moines

A Des Moines woman has pleaded guilty to federal hate crimes for

intentionally driving her SUV into two children in 2019 because

she said she thought one was Mexican and the other was a member of the Islamic State group.

Nicole Poole Franklin, 43, entered the pleas Wednesday in a Des Moines federal court to two counts of violating the U.S. Hate Crime Act for trying to kill the children in separate attacks because of their races.

She pleaded guilty Monday to two state counts of attempted murder in the same Dec. 9, 2019, attacks,

lol thinking it's wokist extremism to say "Song of the South" is racist, or even that it is too dated and hokey to be relevant to many 21st century users. people in 1946 also said it was racist, fwiw.

now imagine seething about that until, eventually, you bare your heart to a local journalist and open a porthole to your peculiar Disney fetish for the whole world.

Five states besides Floridaintroducedsimilar bills this year, granting some form of immunity to people running into demonstrators. The Iowa measure passed the state House and awaits Senate approval. Oklahoma Governor Kevin S t just signed another version into law in his state. This one shields attacking drivers fromcriminal liability.

Then last week, when asked by The Hill if Trump would be making an appearance at the Orlando retreat, Cheney said, “I haven’t invited him,” prompting laughter from reporters who have been following the Cheney-Trump feud closely.

Unlike past GOP retreats in West Virginia and Baltimore, Trump wasn’t invited to address this year’s gathering by the Congressional Ins ute, the nonprofit sponsor, despite the fact that he’s just a short flight away at Mar-a-Lago. A spokesperson said the ins ute also had not been asked by GOP leaders to invite him.

When Liz Cheney isn't alluding darkly to ongoing criminal investigations, she has to say stuff like this. #3 ranking.

Despite the snub, it's Trump's GOP and only the Trumpiest Trumpies may apply to kiss the ring.

I think right now, the Republican Party is headed by [Senate Minority Leader] Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy in the House. I think our elected leaders, you know, are the ones who are in charge of the Republican Party,” Cheney, one of 10 Republicans who voted to impeach Trump for his role in the insurrection, told reporters on Monday.

I think the non-crazy establishment will fight back and likely lose.

GOP official used his own unwitting father in scheme to steal campaign funds

A former campaign manager for Rep. Steve Chabot (R-OH) has been charged by federal prosecutors with embezzling more than $1.4 million in campaign contributions.

former Chabot campaign chief Jamie Schwartz was charged with wire fraud and falsification of records this week for a scheme in which he used his own unwitting father to siphon off donations.

"As part of the scheme, according to the charges filed by federal prosecutors,

Schwartz misrepresented his father as the treasurer for the campaign," the newspaper writes.

"His father, a jeweler in Bridgetown, told The Enquirer in 2019

he did not know he was Chabot's treasurer and

later released a statement that he has never worked for Chabot's campaign."

"bottom" being making it lose a few election cycles.

GOP is anticipating winning back the house in 22. I don't see that happening.

Their disjointed and disorganized attacks on Biden have been less than effective outside the ducks/derp-opheres.

Democrats will have some solid things to run on in 22, and those popular things will have had ZERO Republican support.
