Det corner kick defense lol
Wildjanum who rarely scores had a hat trick
Origi who rarely plays scored a goal
Liverpool was worse tbh
Never getting over that one
Det corner kick defense lol
Wildjanum who rarely scores had a hat trick
Origi who rarely plays scored a goal
The fact that the same back line that lost 3-0 to Roma, 4-0 to Liverpool and 8-2 to Bayern still starts for Barca is just
pep WTF
No DM
Sterling starting yikes
Risky but it might work
Good luck. I don't have a horse in the race. City deserves after the past handful of years. The Bundesliga Chelski's are interesting.
1-0 Cheski
Overthinking Pep = disaster
Smartest guy in every room he's ever stepped foot in
De Bruyne off with injury
Chelsea with 1 arm on the trophy
Respect Pep for being aggressive. Additionally this is perfect example of why his Bayern tenure was unfulfilled.
Chelsea got shamelessly robbed in ‘08 against Pep’s Barça, seeing Barça year after year kicked out of CL by pure goleadas and now Pep’s failure as City’s manager, is sublime justice.
getting rid of Silva and Tuchel
That was dumb lineup, he destroyed City’s momentum AND he started Sterling
That shot by Mahrez in the end with his weaker foot in the end tho, almost went in
Atletico got robbed in 2016 thanks to a Ramos offside goal as well as robbing Bayern with offside goals.
And while Chelsea were overall hard done by Barca in 2009, that first leg was blatantly in chelsea's favor, but people love to forget that.
Ramos wasn’t offside, Juanfran’s right arm made sure of that
Not to mention Savic was holding Ramos

And I’m indifferent, but while I admit barca got the benefit over Chelsea in 2009, that first leg had a lot of calls go against Barca. People still crying about it all these years later is funny when every other major team has had a beneficial group of calls that led to a CL eventually. Again, the chelsea reffing was bad but everyone refuses to talk about all the calls against Barca. Some absolute bs
ok slightly offside then, but Savic was still holding and grabbing him so it evens things out
Failure?
He will stay on and they will not only stroll to EPL champions again in the future, but win the CL as well.
Bank on it. He landed in a great spot.
Chelsea is a very tough team to beat when they put their athletes up top and harass for 70 minutes, and then bring in more athletes off the bench. They showed the same thing against Madrid, they absolutely smothered them in the second game, it was awful.
Pep will learn. You must have not only good players, but really athletic players when Chelsea is at their best. The MC midfield is not athletic. Also N. Kante backing up those really fast harassing wings and forwards is extraordinarily difficult. The german has found a formula that works on some EPL teams, but not all. Chelsea had tougher times facing teams as athletic as they are. The EPL is tough because the very skilled teams can be beaten by athletic teams here and there. Also Chelsea did not score that many goals and missed some proper striker chances, they wont get away with that for a season. It will prevent them from winning the league and the FA cup again.
Which is why I think Villareal beating MU was heroic. They kept composure even when being outrun and just drug it out. MU has allowed the first goal all year long and then come back with a vengance. When MU scored I thought, here we go again, but Villareal hung tough and replaced 4 players while MU did not have the backups to score again so they foolishly let it go into the crapshoot and lost. MU also got measure on MC and used athleticism later in the season beating them. Props to Villareal. They are a supremely stubborn group and follow plans to perfection. And this group contains quite a few throwout players from the EPL who performed quite well.
