Watch him end up back on the Pelicans where he actually might help a team. That was on BSPN recently as a thought

Would you want a disgruntled $45 million million dollar player on your team? That would end badly for the Knicks.

He could do them like Marcus Morris did the Spurs
Knicks are dumb enough to do it.

CP = cancer = terrible contract - will be interesting
Listen i am a basketball official and have forgot more about the game then you will ever know.
So as a great mentor said - "don't argue with the ignorant who do not know the game like you". So I will not.

Now if I were to rank these 4 teams, I'd go Lakers, Knicks, Bucks and a distant 4th would be the Heat.

CP0 solves all the Lakers problems. He's still good for about 17/9 and 2 steals per night. Great facilitator, his shot is respected enough to provide spacing for Bron and AD, and he's still a pesky defender.

Issue 1: he's TOSB and injury prone.
Issue 2: Lakers would be too top heavy

That being said, I'd roll the dice. Pelinka would deplete our depth to get him, but how many players would balk at the idea of moving to LA to play with Bron, AD and CP0?

Doubt it happens, but if he comes be prepared to grab your ankles and bite your bottom lip NBA
Instead Luz-Elena here was forced to grab her ankles and bite her bottom lip when CP3 came to Staples. Lo siento mi hija.

Suns need to get it done this Finals; Chris Paul can't expect to continue playing this well at 37+ years old.

He had one good game against the Clippers.

But he may suck out with the strength of Phx core + East injuries.
Sad. Trey would have run him silly.

With whomever is likely to make the playoffs and pays him the most. Leaves 2/3 of teams out in the cold even if they have the $$$$. He's desperate to get a ring but he's also a bit greedy. Apparently money can buy happiness even if you don't earn a chip.
