You use code words like " geneous" - it's obvious what you mean. Don't back away from it now and pretend you weren't talking about how America has a diverse racial makeup while those other countries don't, it was clearly what you were saying.
You really are something else if you think genous only means race. Here is what I posted (and now I really don't know why I took the time to even explain if you are so closed mind as to pick out only one): "from every race, creed, background, cultures, geography (city/rural)"

You people are INCREDIBLE - blinded by the topic of race if you think anything I said was about brown/black people. This is about CULTURE - not the color of any one's skin. Similar thinking - not skin color.
Imagine how terrible of a person you are.

it’s always funny and sad to see racists tell someone that they are the real racists for calling them out for being racist. Yet they do it all the time.

So you did bring up race. Clearly you think there's a relationship between America's racial makeup and its inability to contain the spread of COVID-19.

No you're not, you replied to me because you're butthurt that it's white trash and not black people driving the spread of COVID-19.
The statistics in San Antonio don't back up that statement. Over 80% of covid cases in San Antonio to date are Hispanics and blacks. Are you claiming rednecks gave it to them?

Yes, specifically the wheelchair redneck who waited until his state was in the midst of an outbreak before putting a mask mandate in place.

why do you think people are ignoring the need to wear masks? What do the people that refuse to wear them tend to look like?

It wasn't just that. That cripple invalidated everyone's local mask mandates in May (back when Karrin was ing the football for pandemic over), and mask usage dropped off a cliff in the San Antonio area immediately after.

You are OBSESSED with race. It is one of 5 things listed, and yet YOU choose to single it out.

You brought race into it, not me. I single it out because it’s absolutelt ridiculous to claim our country having racial diversity is related to its inability to contain COVID.

Plus, he/she pretty much suddenly agrees that those countries were able to control COVID, ting on her initial claim.

It's just that in the US we're exceptional and we can't. Exceptionally re ed.

I don't think it's a race thing, and I can say that RMT meant to say it was either. I do think she's trying to finger-wag about the US's lack of monolithic thinking and is probably assuming that's a liberal issue. The thinking would be in the 50s or whatever, Americans pulled in the same direction and got a bunch of things done. Like if the US actually had to mobilize to win a war like WWII, it'd be easy to see how we'd it up.

Thing is, though, there was never a geneity of thinking, just in the representation of thought. We used to just be shown one America, and those you disagreed didn't have a voice. Those who bought into that see what's going on as a breakdown of American culture, but that's not why things have been getting worse, and it's not why we've become even more individualistic. That's because capitalism has co-opted the American spirit (which was always somewhat ty and predisposed to this sort of thing like with slavery) and made it to where individual success was the way to measure the health of a society and any critique of that was considered communism and therefore un-American. Can't have strong social safety nets, because that's communist. Can't tax the wealthy in order, because that's communist. Can't enforce health safety codes, because that's communist. We have an overreliance on voluntary actions to protect the vulnerable.

I don't hate charities, but the idea that folks have to give up their money to do the things the government should be doing sickens me. It's the same idea with masks, where people think they should be able to decide if everyone around them gets exposed to the virus. Those "communists" societies seem to be doing much better because they don't have dip s thinking they're just as smart as scientists and that they reckon they're plenty safe on their own without all that "communist ."

He's not lauding communism, joey... read it again. What he's saying is that our own individualism and stupidity knee-jerks into calling anything we don't like "communism", and it's the excuse of why we can't have nice things by pooling everyone's efforts together.

There's always a clown that's at the ready to ruin it for all of us. Can't say he's wrong.

Yes. I’m absolutely saying the governor should force people to wear masks in public so they’re not putting people around them at risk. No matter how ridiculous you try to make a mask ordinance sound, government is supposed to play the role of making sure people aren’t needlessly endangering each other. A mask mandate in the middle of a pandemic should be a common sense as having streetlights when major streets intersect with each other.

Unfortunately in this country it takes the morons being close to death for them to start realizing this isn't some sort of political game Trump has those idiots believing that's all it is

There should also be government assistance, tbh.

You always have a certain small percentage of people with mental disabilities, and you simply cannot reason with those people, tbh, but they're a public health hazard.

Take foldren, for example, and whoever adult is paying for his internet connection. Clearly people that require some type of government assistance not to endanger those around them.

    You're validating my point.

Me: "The problem is that Americans call everything collectivistic 'communism'."

    You: "Shut up, commie."

Anyone "with a brain" indeed. Can't even follow a simple argument without ting all over yourself but you think you know enough to be in charge of the health of everyone around you.

what you speak of isn't plausible. when it's said to be plausible it's merely lies by commies. there is no utopia where we are all on the same page and want to push humanity forward together.

he's lauding a utopia which only exists in the minds of trendy leftists/progressives/socialists/communists(the pawns but not those at the top). no utopia can defeat the individual who strives for more out of life.
