Here's some gallop poll data. People are leaving the Dem party. Most are going independent. In 2016 Dems had a 4pt adv on republicans and now they are down 1pt.

Here's some gallop poll data. People are leaving the Dem party. Most are going independent. In 2016 Dems had a 4pt adv on republicans and now they are down 1pt.
Based on that chart, Dems averaged 30.5% affiliation in 2016 in polls up to this point of the year, vs. Republicans at 27.6% and Independents at 39.9%.

Comparing that to 2020 averages, Dems are -0.9% (29.6%), Republicans are +0.9% (28.5%) and Independents are down -0.6% (39.3%). These shifts are basically negligible in polling.

Get real. Corporate taxes are another cost of doing business just like employees and cost of goods. Cost goes up, prices go up.
But when costs goes down, prices not always go down. Why is that? Think what you're going to respond because if you say inflation I'm gonna smack you in the head

tbh, you have a fairly ancient view of the economy.

Meh. People are leaving both parties, but young people are absolutely breaking Democratic by a pretty wide margin.

People under the age of 30 who have voted early favor Democrats by 30 points, according to TargetSmart’s model. Similarly, a Harvard Youth poll out today shows Biden’s advantage with voters 18 to 29 has slightly increased since September, to 63 percent support compared to 25 percent for Donald Trump. And 63 percent of respondents said they will “definitely be voting,” leading Harvard to predict that 2020 could rival 2008.

Of course young people are voting Democrat. Big tech censors speech. They read one narrative in the most popular politics sub on reddit. Reddit banned the Trump sub. Every popular celeb from hollywood to sports endorses them. Activating people is different from people moving away from a party. So even if people that use to identify as Dems leave you can still initiate a bunch of young morons and it will be no problem.

Your anecdotes and immediate experience do not count more than data collected from thousands of statistically sampled people across the country.

Just because people YOU might know feel differently, or you THINK you know what people around you vote for, doesn't make that representative of the greater whole.

Jesus you suck at critical thinking.

It is difficult to accurately judge where Republican policies stand because of the racism hoax. I have never seen a nation so focused on race. It wasn't like this before Obama's Presidency. I tip my hat to Democrats for playing this cheat card but eventually it won't have the same effect, backfiring. This is the land of opportunity, there is no discrimination based on gender, race or religion. Wealth - yes.

As for policies. I look at my California ballot and took a peak at 2016 to remember. It is majority just raising taxes. Overwhelmingly on business. Can Democrats accomplish anything without raising taxes? The message has always been attractive to the young and dreamers. Free stuff, climate saved and no more racism. And the evil rich white people pay for it all, right? How did Democrats convince supporters to expand a government that they themselves consider broken (or even corrupt).

Agreed on turning the page on the old Republican party. Forget those warmongers. Trump ultimately might have failed by being too much about big business. Still screw Hollywood and all the progressive baggage. Focus should be on working class. Stay with the populism Trump seemed to connect with.

Republicans should remain the working class and Democrats can try their luck again as the victimhood party of free stuff. Seems Americans need to be reminded what is like to pay more for stuff you didn't vote for.
