Still no succinct pathogenic effect explanation? Just gibberish about dirty rags and hazardous materials

Derp still thinks people do not throw away disposal masks after use or clean them regularly if they are washable?

Derp probably does not wash kitchen towels after use, as that sounds like the derp way.

Honestly, is this really a big deal if you already have to take the mask off to eat?
I have no issue w/ following the ordinance, but this is true. Adequate ventilation or outdoor seating is far more important for 2020 restaurant eating

The pathogenic effect on masks as opposed to open air is much worse.

    You're embarrassing yourself.
Ummm...no. This is a respiratory virus, where transmission occurs through airborne particles (for a brief time) or via liquid droplets that contain the virus. It is possible to get the virus by coming into contact with a contaminated surface, but that can ONLY happen if the contaminated surface makes contact with your eyes, mouth, or an open wound. Highly unlikely if you're washing you regularly wash your hands and avoiding rubbing your eyes.

Also, restaurants should regularly disinfect tabletops and countertops between customers, even before COVID, so not sure why they're making a big deal of this.

The counter point is that once people are seated in a restaurant and eating, nobody is wearing their masks, so there is still risk of transmission, even if you require masks on entry.

As someone already pointed out, the best way to stop the virus from spreading in restaurants is to limit indoor seating, maximize outdoor seating, and provide adequate ventilation. Good luck doing that in the winter...

That has nothing to do with the fact that pathogens ac ulate in masks, numb nuts.

Reading is fundamental. I'm a doctor who's read extensively on COVID, taken care of COVID patients in the ICU, and attending multiple lectures by infectious disease specialists (including Dr. Fauci), but please...do try and educate me on this disease

    Reading is fundamental.
Exactly. Are you claiming that pathogens don't contaminate used masks? That's what's at issue here.

that's the whole point of using masks. Keep the virus in the masks instead of the air.

Don't touch someone else's mask and you'll be fine.

just take the L you've been prescribed by a doctor.

derp derpserately trying to change the subject.

This is the question you will never answer.

If a single virus is in the fabric of a mask of one person, can that virus travel through the air to infect another person?

    Yes or no.
