I agree with criticisms of people in the streets celebrating the Biden victory with essentially zero physical distancing, with or without masks.
The significant difference obviously is that those people are not doing so upon orders by Biden. And not only did Trump condone such gatherings with worse adherence to mask wearing, but he actually encouraged and planned the events because they were “his” rallies/events.
I would hope Biden talks about people trying to be careful, wear masks, and try to physical distance themselves from one another. Will be hard to do with the amount of people gathering.

You have to wonder, if a miracle happened and they somehow took both Georgia seats in that stupid runoff, how far left they would go. You have like 71 million votes for Trump and added House seats for the right, so Biden winning was not exactly a repudiation of Trump or Republican values. Going hard left, big power grabs like packing courts, etc would be political suicide, imo. And I don't think Biden of 10 years ago would even consider it.
I see your point, an interesting one. The Party could run wild without needing the acceptance of the leader.
I do believe Joe is a good man. Just not sure he is in the physical/mental shape to stand up to these younger and more vicious types. To them he is ultimately just an old white guy that rode along with Obama.
