I think that's a stretch. Supporting a legal challenge to an election isn't insurrection or rebellion in the legal sense, even though it aimed at a similar effect.
I do think that everyone who supported the Texas lawsuit did something really bad to this country and I hope the social opprobrium will be lasting, but who am I fooling?Republican voters will love them even more for it.

I think you're right that Dems need to learn how to play consitutional hardball, but creating an extra election-related crisis right before inauguration could backfire in a lot of ways. I think Biden himself would probably look at it as poisoning the well.
Better to use the normal levers of power in the White House and Congress to block Republcans and get tangible done for the people.

I think the idea (gathered from Linn's previous posts, they aren't totally coherent) is to declare Biden and the Democrats enemies of the US under the Insurrection Act, to declare the general election void, and to have a new election under military supervision.
I think US armed forces would do their own coup d'etat before going along with that, but who knows? We live in interesting times.
