Refresher for those who may not be familiar with Act 77, which among other things, provided for expanded mail in voting this year.
Republicans voted nearly unanimously (only 2 votes against in the PA House) for Act 77 earlier this year. No complaints were raised until Trump lost the election.

US Rep Mike Kelly is asking SCOTUS to overturn the PA election again because, he says, Act 77 is uncons utional.

he lost his case in PA because of the doctrine of laches (ie sitting on a claim and only bringing it up after the defendants have been prejudiced, or in this case, not contesting the law until after the election and results are known)
i dont see why SCOTUS would treat it differently, such that if Act 77 were found to be against the PA cons ution, they wouldnt be able to get the relief sought (having it impact the 2020 election)
Has SCOTUS even agreed to take hear this yet? Roberts is definitely a no vote as is Kavanaugh, the laches defense gives them an easy way to avoid setting any real precedent.
nah, this appeal is asking them to grant cert, which they are not required to do of course. we'll see if they think its worth the time taking this up just to make a ruling on laches
You only need 4 justices to take it up, right? I could see Gorsuch and the 3 fascists want to take it up while Roberts beerkeg and the 3 liberals still rule as a majority that laches applies.

GA's election certification and their slate of electors has already been filed with the US archivist. Even if there were some way to check all the signatures (what is a secret ballot?), nothing would be changed by the result.
