DeSatanis probably gets the nod. I doubt the GOP is ready for an Indian candidate. They are still extremely racist. This assumes Trump doesn't get it from prison.
I tend to doubt verdict and sentencing will come before the election, but if it does, Trump will get enough votes while in prison to sink any Republican alternative. The GOP appears to be cornered into backing a crook.
