    Speaking of promises:
federal 15 min wage isnt good policy, so i'm glad they're not prioritizing that. though he did issue an executive order requiring federal contractors to have $15 min wages. besides, how far do you have to be into a 4 year term to consider promises broken?

The 2002 AUMF hasn't been used since 2011. It's repeal is empty centrist symbolism and has no impact or relevance to Biden's missle strikes.
This is false. It has not been used as the sole authorization, but it has been invoked as providing statutory authorization:

In 2014, the Obama administration named it as an "alternative statutory basis" for the U.S. campaign against the Islamic State in Iraq. The Trump administration also invoked it to justify its conflict with the Islamic State, but asserted authorization to address threats in "Syria or elsewhere" as well.

    Again, a good start.

Here is Biden being a liberal.

Federal executions halted; Garland orders protocols reviewed.

The Justice Department is halting federal executions after a historic use of capital punishment by the Trump administration, which carried out 13 executions in six months.

Attorney General Merrick Garland made the announcement Thursday night, saying he was imposing a moratorium on federal executions while the Justice Department conducts a review of its policies and procedures. He gave no timetable.

“The Department of Justice must ensure that everyone in the federal criminal justice system is not only afforded the rights guaranteed by the Cons ution and laws of the United States, but is also treated fairly and humanely,” Garland said. “That obligation has special force in capital cases.”

Garland said the department would review the protocols put in place by former Attorney General William Barr. A federal lawsuit has been filed over the protocols — including the risk of pain and suffering associated with the use of pentobarbital, the drug used for lethal injection.

I don't see why only liberals would care about reigning in Executive power. I also voiced my dislike for Obamacare plenty here, tbh.

But between ing, moaning and doing nothing vs ing, moaning and starting to take away some of the legal framework that empowered the executive to carry out actions, I'll take the later every time.

Other than yelling at clouds, what is your solution to this?

It unironically was. Historically illiterate people forget how bad it was before Obamacare with pre-existing conditions not being covered and like Recision where a healthcare company could go through your healthcare records and drop you for not filling out a form right when they found out you had cancer. Not to mention the massive Medicaid expansion Obamacare delivered which was probably one of the best parts of it. Besides they passed the public option in the House and would have done the same in the Senate if they had the votes.

By looking clearly at the context of what's going on instead of stanning an inconsequential repeal of an AUMF.
Biden uses article 2 to bomb Syria - the AUMF has all to do with it.
LOL, the Blue MAGA is just as ing crazy as Red MAGA.

He can use Article 2 because we have military personnel in Syria, so maybe we need to start discussing how we stop having deployments all around the world (and originally those deployments were largely authorized via the AUMF, as noted).

    Don't forget:

That contract follows a $3.1 billion deal Raytheon signed with the Air Force on June 9, for a radar system expected to be built just outside of Los Angeles. That work is scheduled to take place through 2036.

He's just trying to lure the guys back in so he can dispatch sorties of F-14's and see if he can get the WH black butler/"Silas" from "The Big Valley" to help him figure out the nuclear codes...

Biden Plan Is About To Boost Jobless Workers And Families With Kids

Republican governors across the country have cut off federal unemployment benefits for millions of people,

but Democratic policies are still kicking in to help people struggling in the uneven recovery from the COVID-19 economy.

In just one of the American Rescue Plan's improvements to the Affordable Care Act, on July 1,

    unemployed people became eligible for
additional Affordable Care Act subsidies. "

An average of three out of five eligible uninsured Americans can access $0 plans after subsidies are factored in, and

an average of four out of five current consumers will be able to select a policy for $10 or less per month,

on July 15, expanded, monthly child tax credit payments start going out to millions of families.

The overall child tax credit increased from $2,000 to $3,000,

plus an additional $600 for children under six, and because it will be paid monthly,

It's estimated that the expanded child tax credit will cut child poverty by 45 percent.

Currently, the parents with the lowest incomes don't get all of the existing child tax credit—

    in fact,
10 percent of kids get nothing. That's not true of the new policy.

    Pew’s Validated Post-Election Poll Details Biden’s 2020 Win

    New 2020 Voters

One in 4 voters in 2020, or 25 percent, had not voted in 2016.

About six percent of those new 2020 voters turned out in 2018, ing participation in that midterm election.

And voters who turned out in 2018 after skipping the 2016 presidential election were

about twice as likely to back Joe Biden over Donald Trump in 2020.

Among those under age 30 who voted in 2020 but not in either of the two previous elections, Biden led 59 percent to 33 percent,

while Trump won among new or irregular voters ages 30 and older by 55 percent to 42 percent.

Younger voters also made up an outsize share of these voters:

Those under age 30 made up 38 percent of new or irregular 2020 voters,

though they represented just 15 percent of
    all 2020 voters.

Joe cleaning up trash in Social Security Administration:

President Joe Biden on Friday fired Social Security Commissioner Andrew Saul after he refused to submit his resignation as the President had requested, a White House official told CNN.

"Since taking office, Commissioner Saul has undermined and politicized Social Security disability benefits, terminated the agency's telework policy that was utilized by up to 25 percent of the agency's workforce, not repaired SSA's relationships with relevant Federal employee unions including in the context of COVID-19 workplace safety planning, reduced due process protections for benefits appeals hearings, and taken other actions that run contrary to the mission of the agency and the President's policy agenda," the White House official said.
