Oh that's easy - Murray.
Forbes is gone I'm sure of it. However his departure brings up a very important question. Who will become the new whipping boy around here. Personally I feel like if Forbes and Marco are gone there should be no one else to place the blame on other than Pop. With Forbes and Marco gone we're all going to see that last year didn't have to be like it was. I'm not going to predict top 4 seed in the west or anything crazy like that but this team will be substantially better just subtracting the worse of the trash from the roster.
Murray, Trey Lyles, DeMar, Aldridge
In that order.
I really wouldn't be so sure about Forbes. Idk why half the forum is so sure he's gone when all indicators are that Pop loves him for some unknown reason
Someone explained it in one of these threads. Bringing him back will affect the cap negatively. It's pretty much a sure thing he's gone. And the fact that he's the only player they didn't extend QO.
Great call. There is already a TP v Manu like section for White/Murray and Murray is the polarized one.
I also see a potential Vassell thing if Haliburton comes out of the gate strong.
For sure...
Yep easily Murray then DEROZZ and right behind him LMA
Murray. And if Murray doesn’t do well someone related to the Spurs skipping over Haliburton.
Forbes and Murray will both have breakout years and finally earn some respect (or at least grudging silence) from SpursTalk.
As for who the new whipping boy will be, does Lonnie Walker IV know where some body is buried? He must.
It'll be this (deserved or not), unless White completely sucks at PG next year, he could enter into the fold as could Walker if he continues to have miserable finishes at the rim.
Why would Sammich not get poops wrath?
I guess he needs to play first
Around here: Murray.
Pop’s doghouse: Walker.
DDR, Mills, Murray, LMA and Rudy...in that order.
pop deserves all the blame and has for a few yrs now. i love pop but he's not over himself in the least, he's content with mediocracy now, and is just collecting a check.
That's my point exactly. Last year was a bad spot on Pops tenure for me.
He didn’t play one second in the bubble, and wasn’t given a QO.
Forbes wasn't eligible for a qualifying offer, he's coming off his second contract and is a veteran
Just double checked: qualifying offers for non-first round picks on the rookie scale are "For most veteran free agents who have been in the league three or fewer seasons."
Forbes was given a QO in 2018 after his second year
He now has 4 years experience
probably murray... i had much higher hopes for him. cant believe his ball handling never got better
