You don't watch Nets games, do you?
It sets the market. That's how things work.
Where do you see that?
No where. Just assuming they're giving him 2m as a prediction lol
Yeah, it'll likely be somewhere around that amount. My guess would be three-year, ~$6 million with about half guaranteed. Maybe more if another team went after him.
Depends on what happens with Poeltl. I can see him get a bigger payday if Poeltl is really gone. But as of now, no news on that front.
Plumlee got 3/25. Probably close to Jakob's market value. Dunno
3year/25 mill for mason plumlee got that’s gotta be in jakobs ball park
Meyers Leonard got the MLE with around 9 Mil. I believe that will be the Benchmark on which Poeltl salary will probably land.
That's a lot for him. But one less team to pay Poeltl.
Watch out for Charlotte next, I guess
Good news on the Poeltl front, I think
Yeah, if Detroit had offered him that contract..lol........So it's looking like 8 mill a year the going rate I wonder with them signing Eubanks if they let him walk?
So DET thinks they can’t keep Wood?
DET signing Okafor too. Wtf? Okafor, Plummer, and Dedmon? How many Cs do they need
I mean I guess. But you can argue pretty easily that Poe is better than Plum, and that's not a contract I'd be happy if Jakob got.
At least three, according to a source of mine.
Ok, shouldn't we have heard about Lyles by now? Wasn't the deadline to cut him 5 pm?
Yeah, it's close whether that's good news. On one hand, it's good that Plumlee didn't get $30+ million and it's good that there's one less team might be in the running. But, yeah, not great in that it sets the market for Poeltl right around the price where I'd want the Spurs to allow him to walk. Poeltl being restricted will hurt his value a little bit -- but we'll see if that's enough.
I didn't see a time but, yeah, if they were waiving him, they probably would have waived him at the same time as Metu, right?
Can they be working on another contract with him?
Howard stays in LA.
Fox signs a max deal with SAC.
and lol the corpse of Haslem re-signing with Miami again
Fox's deal should caution people against trying to tank and build through the draft (though that's not what SAC did anyway). If you get anyone even half good, you're forced to max them out without even knowing if they're going to be good enough to take you anywhere. You can end up with two max deals and no cap space and still only get a mediocre team that have no chance at making the playoffs.
