We are primed to be the Suns without Amare.

We might win a few games
Keldon is still growing and packing it nicely. He could very well be Amare

Have yall seen a quote from Patty saying it is time for him to be who he is on his national team?

    Does that concern anyone?

It sounds like he thinks offense is about to run through him.
It actually doesn't sound too bad to me. We want to trade the vets, and get a good return, and the easiest way to do that is showcasing them on offense before the deadline to entice other teams into giving assets up for them. I will be vomiting in my mouth slightly every time Patty takes a pull-up 3, but... I'll believe for now that it's a short-term suffering for long-term gains.

Now, if Patty keeps being a ball-hog and isn't traded by the deadline, then yeah, we can talk about concern.

The first mention of Luka by Rudy Gay

That's my vet. (even tho him when he makes frequent dumbass plays on the court)

Thanks for the post. That's a good sign Luka is starting to be more aggressive. I rather see Luka taking Eubanks minutes
Regarding Aldridge staying more in the perimeter. I like him taking those shots, but he still needs to establish the paint early, especially on smaller defenders

Thanks Dejounte for those practice updates! These quotes sound VERY promising & hopeful for at least a interesting & compe ive season for the Spurs! It's good to know that the youth are inspiring & injecting energy into the vets to be more compe ive, especially for LMA, whom I am the most concerned about going into this new style of play this season, especially with his mindset of him wanting to have a key role of scoring, as well as to be an impact in a given game within the new system. BUT, we will see when it will start to matter when the regular season begins. Confidence & chemistry equals good personal & team rhythm with the outcome of wins. Sounds like they are on the right path! GSG!!!

that's the whole reason of locking him up for 3 years. If he can add moves on offense he's more than worth it

This would actually matter if this motley poor assembled talent could really play. FO last three years has been a farce and HOF coach not going to put best five on floor short or tall.

It's actually amazing you can tell the chemistry is much better than the "coffee gang" dark days, and everyone can push themselves and others to work harder and earn their spot, instead of having no-accountability defensive sieves being gifted minutes over young prospects. I like these Spurs a of a lot better than last years', tbh...

Words I'm hearing from Rudy is him finally embracing the veteran role

These guys are truly the "Transition Team"

IMO they're doing a better job passing the torch than our big 3 did

And Rudy losing weight shows he's taking the challenge to run with the youth

Lonnie signed with Klutch to "seek opportunities"... With other teams? Hmm...

He's hyping up the rookies really well. Stop doing that Lonnie, they're gonna take your minutes.

Impressive interview by DJ... Seems he has matured a lot and he actually "gets" it, instead of just saying it.

As much talent as he has, and as few opportunities as he’s received, I’d be looking elsewhere, too. It’s unfathomable that he ing destroyed Houston almost single handedly, a MONSTER break out game, and then sat for most of the rest of the season.
