Nets won't get out of the East. Nash was a pretty boy pick period with no credentials to be a HC. Irving is a head case and Durant will be a shadow of his former great self. 2nd round fodder.

Durant and Irving look good in pre-season games and suddenly the league should be concerned? Relax they are not coming out of East - Bucks, Heat Sixers all capable of beating them.

They have a better shot of making noise once Kyrie goes down with his yearly injury.

As much as I would enjoy watching Kyrie and KD win a ring over LA, it’d be healthier for the League for home grown talent to beat LA like Giannis or Tatum

KD has pushed Lebron's in already. There's a certain big brother bluff about that. I don't see another Eastern team that can challenge the Nets, Miami is a pretender.

They do until KD gets a boo boo and KI goes from borderline crazy to full out.

Bucks winning East. They will mature and dominate when it counts.

You can’t seriously be rooting for headcase Irving and diva Durant to win the East?

I don’t know how far they can go, but they do seem talented as . And they’re especially deep, like Denver was last year. Depth at every position, versatile to play different styles and different tempos. Can go big or small. Their secondary talent is really, really good. LeVert looks like a taller Jamal Crawford. And that Luwawu kid looks like he could end up being a really good NBA player someday and probably won’t even get much PT on this team. They might not get out of the East, but I think they’re the most talented team in the East.

They are getting a lot of love by BSPN experts but hoping they implode.

Durant and Irving are both basket cases, but they are talented. The Nets' secret strength is the rest of their players. They built a scrappy, resilient team and then added those two, only losing D'Angelo Russell. When your next players are Dinwhiddie and LaVert, plus excellent shooters and shot blockers, you're pretty strong. I don't see anyone in the EC beating them and the Lakers are an asterisk team.
