nice to see the Republican dependence on the rural areas finally coming to bite them in the ass. That being said, I wonder what the Supreme Court does to over the voters for 2024

Nice comeback for Ossoff. Lost the first election of Trump's presidency but won the last. Damn a senate seat in GA is so much nicer than that house seat I was so disappointed he lost.

I cared so much more about his race today as well since it’s for a full 6 year term and we haven’t had a popular whire southern Democrat like Ossoff since Bill Clinton. With the way demographics in GA are trending, this is a seat he could hold onto for awhile if he wanted to before maybe running for President in 2032.

You mean since Obama? Obama ran on a much more conservative platform than Biden did, he just did a really good job dressing it up in a “Hope and change” veneer that made it seem bold and progressive.

damn, i basically called it a night a couple hours ago. just saw that ossoff is now up by over 9k votes

that ones over too, based on the remaining votes

spurraider21 decision desk has now called both races . only question now is whether ossoff will get out of the automatic recount threshold or not.

proved me wrong, my prediction was GOP sweep

Agreed. Who would ever thought people would be against getting 2K checks.

    Welp.

Social disapprobrium attaches to peculiarly singling out blacks or Jews, it's easier just to call 'em socialists.

Mitch seems not to have considered that calling Ossoff and Warnock socialists was a staple of the losing campaigns against them.

He doesn't realize people don't give a about socialism when they are broke and suffering economically. Even some republicans who are against "socialism" are secretly looking forward to getting 2K checks.

    Fair.

Proof isn't in the pudding but the eating, but that could be exactly right. If Biden is the most conservative Dem since Obama, he still is very conservative.for a Democrat. Has he appointed a Republican to his cabinet yet?

I'm not particularly good about prediction, but I expect we'll see a $2000 check (or not) and a swift pivot to austerity Joe in roughly 1-2 months.

America has turned into corporate socialism since 1980. Disappearance of anti-trust laws, deregulation, lower taxes for the rich are the reasons why America (and the world in general) is not doing so well for the average person.

Democrats have now full control, I hope that they won't act like they did under Obama and pass everything they want without discussing with the republicans. Republicans didn't care the past 4 years, Democrats shouldn't care either

Ossoff up 16,370 now surprised it hasn't been officially called yet.
