I guess Glenn Greenwald is pissed that Assange/Snowden didn't get pardons so he's done semen shielding for Donald Trump?

Yeah he’s really butthurt about Julie not getting a pardon.

I used to like Greenwald but he and Taibbi have turned into insufferable assholes.

Trump is no longer the most convenient club to bash establishment libs with. Trump's usefulness to a lot of people has diminished considerably in the last two weeks.

" ... Kiriakou. Given that collection of enemies, he thought a pardon from Donald Trump would be a slam dunk.

Little did he know of the pay-to-play rules governing the Trump pardon process.

    Not the traditional legal process,

but one in which $50,000 was chump change and

a couple million for a pardon was just business as usual.

Kiriakou takes us deep inside the ugly process.

He reveals his meetings with Rudy Giuliani, Jared Kushner, and assorted lawyers and lobbyists.

He details how Fox News and Tucker Carlson played a role in his pardon process and

how broken the whole procedure was under Trump.

Clearly, the framers of our Cons ution ... never envisioned multimillion-dollar shakedowns. "

by contrast, the local DA puts judges and state pardon boards who show clemency in its crosshairs.

local police and prosecutors as offficers of blood revenge.

interfering with official vengeance or mitigating its severity against bad men is treated like a crime in some parts.

    what a coincidence

Two men convicted of multiple federal offenses stemming from a bribery plot during the 2012 Iowa Republican caucus received pardons from President Donald Trump late Wednesday.

John Tate and Jesse Benton were convicted in 2016 of various public corruption charges for paying an Iowa state senator to switch his endorsement to then-U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, during his 2012 presidential campaign, days before the first-in-the-nation nominating event. Sen. Kent Sorenson, an Indianola Republican, had been a supporter of U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.
