Oh ...that Oilers team was fun to watch. That was actually my first sports bet. Don't remember the line. But was actually in a casino watching that turn around. Painful.
WTF...this is actually a solid take.

Yep, both those Pats and 90's Cowboys didn't light up the scoreboard but they were built for the playoffs. Smart quarterback play, good ball control, could control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, and elite defenses. They may not have had massive blowouts during the regular season, but they'd match up well against any of the other historically great teams IMO.
Yeah. The 'Fins were the Bears kryptonite sort of like the Giants against the Patriots from 07-12, Don Nelson's Golden State Warriors against Avery Johnson's Mavericks...etc
I had to look that up. But the Dolphins were on a roll. I'm not agreeing that it was a sure thing that the Fins win. But it would have been a heck of a game.
Yep. Not even a homer take. The O-Line was solid, the defense was solid. And you have the offensive skill players to put up numbers.
And that was a damn good Bills team they beat.
Yeah, having an offensive/defensive line that can dominate the LOS on both sides of the ball makes for an extremely dangerous playoff team. Just having that alone got the Jets to back to back AFC Championships despite having questionable talent on offense.
Legion of Boom Seahawks
2010 Packers
Pats team that lost to mouth breather Eli
Late 90s Broncos that went back to back
probably others, but those come to mind
