Why would they want to? Is honoring a guy who played one full season a thing?

Sort of off topic but I saw Adam Sandler at the frost center earlier this month and I didn't see Tony's jersey hanging in the rafters. Anyone know why? The rest of them were there and i just found it odd that Tony's wasn't. I was at his jersey retirement a few years back. Anyone been to a recent game and see it hanging? Its usually on the far right.

Maybe Brent’s been hanging out there when everyone’s gone for the day.

I’ve been far more than a casual fan since about 1990 and I didn’t know this, so clearly you are completely full of .

McDermott's NBA career has been mediocre, at best.

But he was an absolute stud in college.

As a senior, he led the nation in scoring and was player of the year, was a 3-time All American, and one of the highest scoring players in NCAA history.

He certainly deserves to have his college number retired.
