Saw the photo, and realized that would have been my reaction to all of it.
If you see something that needs doing, don't wait on others to do it.
A Congress member after the vote in the early hours of hte morning 3AM or so. No media around to grandstand for, just a guy and a bag.

If the most heroic thing that we get out of this is somebody picking up trash then I'm going to be extremely disappointed.
A hero to me would bring around meaningful systemic change.

Just a simple, human thing. It is a reminder of decency. A touchstone.
