How does Lyles go from doesn't sniff the court to leading the team in mins?
We just had two players run to that trash ass Poleski dude
How dumb can you be
To be very clear, Jak looked just as ty to start the season the last 2 years. Not defending his play but that's a fact.
What's indefensible is how absolutely soft he looks when he touches the ball and how he's actually gotten worse as a FT shooter smh
I'll come out and say it: I was wrong on my pre-draft impression of my guy Daffy's boy Poku. My biggest concern about him, by far, was his weight/ability to stay on the floor at the NBA's level of physicality, and he doesn't seem to be having any problems on that end. I'd still rather have Vassell with the #11 pick, but Poku's probably in the best possible era for his game, skillset, and most of all, body. Soft as league is just the way he's favored to play tbh.
Vassell getting so many minutes just confirms my theory that he didn't get hurt last game. Pop just forgot he was on the team and then lied his ass off to the vanilla Express news writers
Devin just makes stuff happen.
Small sample size but I'm pretty sure that (outside of Derrick) hes got the highest BBIQ out of all the young guys. Not a high bar but he knows how to play winning ball tbh
Lonnie on both ends. Yeah baby!
He bumped knees............. Find better ways to trash Pop, tbh, it's not like there aren't any
We do a very bad job of knowing when a driving player is going to pass or shoot.
Nice lead going into the 3rd. You already know bs lineups are inevitable leading to a large run by the thunder in the 3rd.
Yup. He has defensive instincts that can't be taught
I'll take a selfish low IQ play from Lonnie tbh
None of our young guys has a consistent shooting touch. We need shooters and an athletic big. Can't win(meaning generally) with Patty being the only outside threat.
I saw the video last game thread of when it was believed he got "hurt".
Don't buy it at all. Vassell didn't even limp afterwards. Bumped knees don't keep you out entire halfs btw

Less Lyles in the 2nd quarter and boom we got the lead. Hope Pop doesn't start him for the 2nd half but he probably will. OKC doesn't have an inside presence, we are getting a lot of easy looks at the rim, especially Keldon and Lonnie. DJ has been off. Vassell is just such a positive impact player on both ends. I'd actually prefer for Pop to start him instead of Lyles
Damn, you sure convinced me tbh, Devin not limping immediately after getting hit but still being in pain is surely less likely than Pop literally forgetting he can play a player that he'd put on the court that very same game....
Thanks Ace
they are inconsistent, but everybody except for Poeltl shoots 3s. So somebody will always be able to hit them. Also Lonnie is a really consistent shooter and White is still coming back. We should be fine as far as shooting goes, we're 5th in 3 PT% for a reason and we actually shoot a high volume now
Bench mob coming in again to save the day.
I know we are short-handed, but how hard is it to put together a starting lineup that can actually build a lead.
Lonnie making DeMar more expendable.
