They have Christian Wood tbh.
ing Oladipo and John Wall. Wow. I almost feel sorry for the Rocket fans. Almost.
Christian Wood is absolutely terrible at defense. Jarrett is very good at defense.
Oladipo is a nice player. I don't give a about Wall.
Meh was a nice player. A nobody now.
I don't think you watch basketball.
Nets should trade Kyrie to Spurs for DeMar, Murray. It would make them so much better.
Agreed on both parts, but both are also Cs. Wood is also already locked in on a nice contract.
no, don't want any part of him and I'm sure the Spurs don't either.
He's pretty ty tbh. His PER is barely above league average these days, and his +/- numbers are negative. Not to mention he's been a locker room distraction this season himself. Only reason I can see Houston wanted him was because he's an expiring and they wanna open capspace.
I think you haven't watched it since 2017-18 tbh
Wood lacks the strength to defend overpowering C's, can play some "PF" (if/when Tucker is traded, pending the return, they have no starter in waiting) and they could have ran a rotation similar to what the Pacers do now, the Spurs did with Aldridge-Gasol, etc: Play the first 6 minutes of each half together, alternate, then close with Wood at C.
In a league thats trending to smaller and smaller lineups I'm not sure Wood and Allen could coexist on the floor together even semi-regularly. The Pacers can do it with Sabonis/Myles because both can shoot the three (same with LMA/Gasol to a lesser extent), but even then the Pacers have been trying to trade Myles.
Hey man
Long time no see
Oh you mean like Kareem, Magic and Jordan?
damn the body ain’t even cold yet but damn pettiness lol
Yeah, not saying it'd be ideal, just saying they could have made it work. Relatively small sample size, but Wood is a career 35% (league average) 3-point shooter.
Another FAIL is John Wall who rehabilitation occurred 2 years on Wizards dime then demanded to be traded. At least he had Beal with Wizards now he is on a rebuilding team, great move quitter.
