Imagine a nation where you have to have 20,000 troops in DC to protect the nation from the president.

I don't think Democrats disagree the censorship is wrong. They simply support or look the other way because it benefits their party/ideology.

I support a private enterprise being able to take stuff down if it violates terms of service. The fact social media companies have become such an essential piece of public discourse is a larger problem that isn’t solved by forcing twitter to let people use its platform to express their opinions.

I think government censorship is wrong, no matter what party is in power. Thankfully that's generally protected by the 1st amendment.

    Up to the police, ultimately.

I was taught you don't point a gun, loaded or unloaded, unless you're willing to shoot whatever it's pointed at.

    What were you taught?

    pretty boy, but stupid as

    Jon-Erik Hexum

He had unloaded all but one (blank) round, spun it, and—simulating Russian roulette—he put the revolver to his right temple and pulled the trigger,[6] apparently unaware of the danger.

Blanks use paper or plastic wadding to seal gunpowder into the cartridge, and

this wadding is propelled from the barrel of the gun with enough force to cause injury

if the weapon is fired within a few feet of the body, particularly a vulnerable spot, such as the temple or the eye.

although the paper wadding in the blank that Hexum discharged did not penetrate his skull,

    there was enough
blunt force trauma to shatter a quarter-sized piece of his skull and propel the pieces into his brain,

    causing massive
    hemorrhaging

Wonder if he was being a reckless moron playing with a gun like a toy or if he was doing a scene having him shooting. Charge him with manslaughter if it's the former, if it's the latter charge whoever ed up loading the gun.

One article I read said that the wadding itself can be dangerous, particularly if the powder load is goosed to make a more impressive report. Another pointed out that CGI makes using blanks totally unnecessary.

Blanks should probably be banned from film sets, tbh.

What’s your favorite Baldwin performance? Glengarry Glen Ross? Malice, with his “I am God” speech? The Departed?
