Packers winning with the quick game because they know their line can't hold up
Yes, Packers should stick to quick short passes I think
Packers winning with the quick game because they know their line can't hold up
my azz there was no holding on the fudgepacker there
Lucky Rodgers gets bailed out by the fumble recovery, tbh.
Shanahan doesn't seem interested. Dak numbers similar to Watson which is why I wasn't buying the Texans ransom. I could be sold on Dak
Rodgers gunning his throws cost them 4 points.
Rodgers had Lazard wide open uncovered for the easy TD on third down and goal, but instead overthrows Adams who catches it but out of bounds. 14-10.
Impact of the Bucs D-Line being felt. Last few weeks he's had all day to go through his reads. He had Lazard WIDE OPEN for the TD but instead forced it to Adams for a much more difficult catch and he couldn't keep the feet inbounds.
Prescott would THRIVE in that Shanahan offense. With all the window dressing, RPOs and easy throws up the middle to the most athletic tight end in the NFL? Dak would eat that up. Plus, the opportunity to run ad-hoc which the 49ers haven't had with pocket statues in Garoppolo/Mullens/Beathard.
1st one had nothing to do with the line. Maybe not gunning it as much as being too risk adverse. Don't make Adams turn and just let him cut in on the DE and that's an easy 6. The second one, they had the rollout, so not a line issue though a lineman did block it. But Rodgers was not pressured hard there. Last one, Adams got the position, but the lack of finesse didn't allow him to re-calibrate his momentum in time. The pocket wasn't collapsing so hard on that one either.
Why did GB sell out for the run on 3rd & 2.5?
3rd and goal play was definitely Rodgers' fault for missing the open guy in the classic case of force feeding your buddy when another guy is wide open for the score.
Brady shocked he wasn't bailed with a flag on that 3rd down.
By the letter of the rule, that's a 15 yard flag. I don't like the rule, but it should have been called, but Packeref would never let that happen. Zadarius Smith is a lot like CJ Gardner Johnson of the Saints that he's a notorious punkhead for doing classless like faking injuries multiple times in a game to stop the hurry-up offense. (Did that against Dallas 5 times in 2019.)
Agreed. That inside slot guy just not there to get open. And he has by far the most cold weather experience of the Bucs' receivers (outside of Gronk, who I haven't even seen on the field much).
PackerRefs with the allowed false start.
TB taking the TO is dumb. Just giving GB a chance if they get the first down.
JPP likely takes 3 points off the board for Green Bay
Rodgers with 3 sacks on 4 drives.
Completely agreed. GB should have taken the TO.
