Exactly. He should still face major civil lawsuits and pay out millions to those affected and face criminal charges as well at the state level if applicable. But he should be pardoned for the federal stuff.

DNC would be smart to shut down any federal criminal charges against Trump. 72+ Million trump-wing zealots (I wouldn't say right wing, just Trump-wing; a lot of traditional GOP types voted for Biden, especially in Georgia, Arizona and the Northern states) voted for Trump (no, I wasn't one of them; I don't vote). About two thirds of them, if not more, are armed. This is a history rewrite. You could make the same argument Assange did everything possible to get Obama elected, given what WL did during W's term. I don't know why this is so difficult to comprehend, Assange is anti-American imperialism, not right-wing. He doesn't want the US as the world's sole superpower, and therefore tries to undermine US stability and global domination. Trump was a vehicle for that.
