It's a good test. The Nuggets are a good team who is not playing as well as they could. Often, that team will shrug off their poor play and outclass SA. If the Spurs can win, it'll end up saying a lot about exactly one of the teams. Either Denver isn't a legit contender this year or SA is firmly a middle-of-bracket playoff team. We probably which of those is closer to the truth for another few months.
Last game of Denver 5 game road trip, Nuggets are undefeated so far on the trip. Outplayed Mavericks on Monday, Heat on Wednesday. Besides Jokic and Murray, Porter Jr has had great games on the road trip.
Spurs play good against a better compe ion. If everybody’s healthy, I would run Spurs with any team in the league. Just the same, Spurs by 6. GSG!

Really looking forward to this one. Nuggets have won 8 of 10 and are playing better than anyone in the west atm sans Utah.Jokic’s stat line this season is the stuff of Bill Walton’s most beautiful dark twisted fantasies. He’s shot 50 percent or higher in 15 of his 18 appearances and dished 10 or more assists in nine of them.
Keldon should be too quick for Millsap, too strong for MPJ. If he stays out of foul trouble, think he’s going to have a big night.

I just don’t want to be down 20-5 in the first quarter because of another slow start from the SL. Playing from behind and being in a constant uphill battle is annoying.

I know the Spurs have had some good games against good teams but they also laid an egg playing Utah. Hope they play up to the Denver level and don't have one of those games where they just fall apart.
