Sounds like the weather terrorists saved your mom's life (for now), Karrins.

what long term restrictions?
like being under a travel ban because we're a COVID hole?
Once she gets the vaccine, she won't be able to have any more children, but her 5G bandwidth will be awesome.
Don't take it personal. I'm a fan of Darwinism.
The Alamodome does them. My uncle and aunt got their vaccinations drive through at the Dome.
derp lashing out with his alts
Delco Center was slammed, but the line went quickly once they got going. There were maybe 500-700 people in line ahead of me at my appointment time. Took ~45 minutes after that to see the vaccine doc, who was great. Got the Moderna shot.
The post-vaccine supervision was the only surprise, I walked in expecting 15 minutes of supervision, but we were told we could leave after 5 minutes if we felt ok and were comfortable leaving. So I left after six or seven minutes.
No discomfort or ill feeling so far. I maybe feel a little bit drowsy.

(and now that I think of it, a dull ache in my left arm)
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Did you tell them your ZIP code?
I signed up through UT and am getting vaccinated March 8
Again, Chumpettes, don't just lie about it. Get vaccinated.
derp peddles fake news, looks like this is too.

explain this derp?
You won’t.
Looks like we gonna have to redo this check in sheet every 6 months
My mom just got first shot. Very organized system at the Alamodome. They must be cranking out several thousand per day.
I started a thread about this the other day. My wife's aunt got her first shot and later that day, she had a stroke.
She likely had a pre-exisiting aneurysm that started leaking. The condition also runs in her family.
I'd advise anyone with a family history of aneurysm/strokes to get an MRI before getting the vaccination.
I'm sorry for y'all's loss.
whoops...didn't mean to imply she died. She's doing ok. Has a fairly long road ahead but should make a decent recovery. She realized something was wrong and drove herself to the hospital and they came and got her out of her car. So definitely not a "massive" stroke.
Other than her immediate family, no one has been able to see her so everything is third party. But her speech is relatively fine. She keeps having brain spasms but they've slowed in frequency and intensity. I don't know what the full prognosis is but I'm guessing it's fairly optimistic if she gets out of this initial phase. Thanks.
