solid college QBs with talent that a team like Texas has doesn't lead his team to a 5-7 record and repeatedly be one of the main culprits for multiple 2nd half chokejobs

No college QB takes an offensive line like Texas has and gets close to sniffing a conf championship.
    None.
    Period and done.

    yes

opinions can also be completely re ed and misinformed, such as people in recent years thinking kawhi > lebron or dame > steph

thinking casey had a solid year is about as bad and misinformed as an opinion can get

but if you are happy with having a re ed opinion, more power to you

did anyone say he should have won the conference?

and I'd feel pretty confident betting Vince young, Kyler Murray and plenty of other great QBs could have taken this team and won the big 12 considering how awful the big12 was this year

I dont know what kind of year he had behind that offensive line.
I know he is not close to a top QB, but with the RB he had and the freshman WR he completely fell apart when teams figured out stop our RB and you are good.
Bijan got destroyed as did both our QBs on many plays because we cant block. 73 pts against Texas Tech? Is there ANY way that could happen again now that Tech knows what we really are. OU... no fkn way.

BY FAR the most obvious problem on offense was our OFFENSIVE LINE and its not even close. We saw what Sark could do with proper play calling at the beginning of the year. But once the façade was lifted, we were done.

Of course you say that KNOWING what they DID as pros.
    Vince Rooke of the Year.
And no fkn way, not their first year starting in COLLEGE.

    What a totally ty argument.
Because OU is bad, the whole conference is bad, what a pile of !

The more you post on this, the worse it gets. You cant see the most fundamental part of a football play, where it must all start. The QB gets the ball from the CENTER and who is in FRONT of him after that? oh, you and I...? well thats not good news... holy ...

you said no college QB could do it. none. period and done. you never said anything about first year starting. moving goalposts when you realize your take sucked

when did I say because OU was bad the conference is bad? do you seriously think OKst and Baylor are much if any better than OU, or even remotely on par with teams like bama, Georgia and Ohio state? how delusional are you?

Does anyone see Coleman getting fired this off-season? The WR recruiting seems to be a bit down even with how great Worthy has been. Also, any news on O-lineman committing to finish off the class?

Thats where our QBs are you dunce.
    These are the facts.
And when they are first year AND most importantly, cant open up the playbook because the offensive line cant block, its hard to tell what kind of guys you have back there. I absolutely do not think Casey is a top QB. But to think he is the cause of this meltdown is ridiculous. We had to beg a 6th year guy with a leg injury to come back and help our oline because we knew it was going to be bad. Derek Kerstetter was going on to live a normal life and he came back because we are a ship full of holes on the oline. This is not some guy who was going to step in and be a 1st round draft choice, he was ready for life outside of football. Our center is flat out not strong enough, he just got bullied. Tope Imadi just cant move. he is a stationary mountain. on and on...

Im saying you are thinking the conf is bad because OU. If anything the conf is much more well rounded. This can easily be argued.
Do you seriously think OU waltzing to prior conf championships was anywhere on par with Georgia and Ohio St ?
They WON zero National Championships while walking to our conf championship. On the whole we were a bad conf. SEC? why?

No one asked you to make such stupid statements but you cling to that rock.

We had guys leave and Worthy was it. This was another huge problem this year, especially after Moore left. We really had... not much behind Worthy.

Unfortunately Texas4ever has gone and it seems most of us dont keep up with this... I just have time to record the games. This board needs help badly in this area. This WAS my go to site before further investigation.

rjv, the ATM specialist, would probably help and be good at it if he has time.

  18. #3518
Well Texas fliped a DB and losta WR by flip. Also lost a RB so down to 21. RB nor a big loss plus Sark says QB position is open and might get a Transfer.

  19. #3519
And we lost a WR that really aint that much. We need game-breakers. I dont see Armani as one. Golden, Stewart, Law may be a better option. Even Hudson as a replacement.

Ohhh yeah. It's how Tech rolls....

Even Hudson a 11 sec. 100 meter man. slow to me Stewart yes. Law ?
Arami is rated high do not know how he would worked out. If you want WRS get Samples as WR coach.

OL there is a chance how ever small flip,or commitment.

yes because we all know an injured thumb is the reason for his choices to do things like throw the ball into triple coverage to worthy, throw a screen pass to a covered receiver, or hold onto the ball in a collapsing pocket and not step up

when healthy, with an improved line, and learning from his atrocious decision making this season believe he can potentially be a very solid QB, fwiw
