Touchdown. Nice design.
True. For surely simplified but yes
Man Robinson is good. Will be a fun year watching him.
would be better if the OL opened up better holes instead of making him find his own.
2 games I care about
UT and UTSA
I am not a fan of UTSA, but they do have 7 Judson players on the roster, so I will be following them a lot this year.
I am not a fan of er, what an overrated POS.....How hard is it to find a decent kicker, sheesh. Then again, a lot of football programs have this issue, so I guess it is pretty difficult.
Card...on the run and hits Whitt for the first down.
If Texas would just eliminate the cuckball screen passes they might be legit.
Its like no matter who is coach they just hang around like a jaded cop waiting his pension smh
Offense looks better than it has in years
I’ve never seen a team so committed to such a low reward play 1% of the time it breaks for a big gain, the other 99% is either a gain of 4 or losing yards.
But so far, Bijan should be in the running for the Heisman and Card actually looks okay for his first start.
Play calling was a little shaky early but they are in a good rhythm now
er misses the easy ones but nails the balls of steel kicks. He’s gonna fail miserably in the NFL but he’s quite possibly the best player of the Herman era
Some aspects of UT's game looks very elite others look like trouble. The offensive line definitely has me worried once we play tougher opponents like OU.
I think a lot of that is transition. It's just what you deal with when you have a whole new staff.
OL is definitely looking sketchy, but yeah I think the rest is just learning a new system and integrating a freshman QB. aside from the OL, the general discipline seems a lot better, especially on defense. by now they would have given up multiple 40 plays, and had about 6 blown tackles. it's amazing to see how different the defense is when they simply tackle well.
Feels like we have been waiting 7 years
Wr screen passes, rb running into the pile, qb not throwing the ball away. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
He seemed ok tbh
The big thing I've seen is that the team seems well coached on both sides of the ball. The discipline and attention to detail is evident. I almost forgot what that looked like.
Back in the game
Swapping in Thompson when the game isn’t quite over seems dumb. Card was looking really comfortable.
