Per TFB, things are looking good for transfer USC LB Palaie Gaoteote. They expect him to sign with Texas.
Also things are trending very well for Aggy transfer sh. Banks.
Good for him.
If he can still run a 4.4 and improve on... a whole bunch of stuff, its a great thing.
tbf he was injured so much and then the whole school song mess.
He must be healthy again if he did so well in physical drills.
I thought he was going to be one of our best safeties ever after his freshman year.
Is Indy going to use a FB in their offense? jk...
I am sort of is shock on this one.
I guess another guy who was always injured.
His arm strength was always questionable.
The draft for positions is a really weird thing. 10 qbs in six rounds... 8 in the first three rounds? Future assistant coaches?
A fall from grace like no other.
Wrong..he was still drafted at a respectable spot. Heck at least he was drafted. I couldn’t believe that mega 5 star recruits Marvin Wilson, Anthony Hines and our own Brennan Eagles went un drafted. Not so much Eagles, we knew that was coming. Who would have that looking back if you throw a guy like Sam Cosmi in that group. Nobody would believe he’d be the only one of that bunch to be drafted and as high as he went.
If you can play left tackle with proficiency, you are a rare player. QB & LTs get paid. Not having to give a LT help is an enormous advantage.
Obviously Caden Sterns stood out with the physical stuff. Because his play... and he admitted it, well there is a ton of work to be done. And he probably passed interviews and such with flying colors.
My comment was more about the player he was as Freshman to when he left. Freshman level Caden was All-American. Where he ended up the last few years was no where close. I'm sure injuries had a part to do with it. Hopefully he can stay healthy.
4-star OLB TJ Dudley from Montgomery is taking an OV to Texas according to Roach.
