I'm just asking is "no brakes" really a good thing?
Lol wut Abram Smith? I'd rather have Zach at TCU.
crazy how the big 12 has gone from QB to RB league
If you take a drug laced with something else...
I think this implies you are not going with a prescription from the doctor.
It has no bearing on overdosing, its just not a good idea and in this case indicates he may have been a bit overwhelmed as many college students are and resorted to self medicating. We hear a lot of this en led but some of these kids are under a ton of pressure. Football and actually attempting to study hard is a tough act. Its more than having a job to help pay for school while going to school for serious purposes.
Sad to hear. So sad to hear. Hope the Ehlinger family is embraced during this time.
It really is sad. Addiction and mental illness touch almost all families sooner or later. Truly helpless feeling to watch a loved one go down those paths.
I have a feeling the journey will be extended for this guy.
OU shouldn't be ranked 3rd in the nation, that's ridiculous. They looked absolutely horrible in the first half vs. Texas, and now they're struggling with 1-5 Kansas.
Reputation and they are simply winning.
Something we seem to be unable to accomplish.
They need to enjoy it now because once they get to the SEC they'll really have to earn any top ten rankings
It seems like they pass those out to anyone.
one of the biggest problems is pre-season rankings. they are completely useless and create more inaccurate rankings than any other flaw in the system
wait until 6-8 games have been played before assigning rankings, because teams like OU now, and A&M earlier in the year that clearly dont belong in the top 5-10 will not retain a high ranking simply because they have had good fortune to not lose yet, over teams that may have a loss or even two yet are clearly superior to them
or better yet, get rid of rankings and let conference championships actually mean something and have a playoff system between conference champs
then teams like texas and OU probably wont be so quick to jump to to the SEC
but its probably too late at this point, unless they just did a complete conference revamp
We pumped the brakes during the third quarter against Ok St.
then we mashed them thru the floorboard in the 4th quarter and it did not turn out so well.
We still ran into the side of the mountain.
UT should schedule Open more often. It’s an opponent that just cannot beat them
Yep, this is gonna be a loooonnnngg season I’m afraid. We’ll be lucky to beat Baylor or Iowa state or Kansas state or…..
