Tom has what a few great QBs had, the wherewithal to lead an offense and the smarts to not do it on a ty team.

Still hard to argue against Bill Russell: 11 NBA championships in 13 seasons, 2 college championships in 3 seasons, 1 Olympic gold in 1 attempt. The stars of that era-- Wilt, Oscar Robertson, Nate Thurmond, Jerry West, Walt Bellamy, Willis Reed, etc.-- all say that Boston could've been beat were it not for Russell. Both guys are great, but it's hard to argue that 7 les in 21 years absolutely beats 11 out of 13.

    This is also interesting: https://runrepeat.com/height-evoluti...e-nba#averages
It's a myth that players were shorter in the past. Today's centers, on average, are actually shorter than in most previous eras.

I always considered Jerry Rice the GOAT in the NFL because he checked every requirement - les, longevity and dominance. His name appeared on every record multiple times and in terms of his position his lead was astronomical.

Brady has the same longevity and played a superior position. He is now the NFL GOAT

As the alpha. (Not including role player guys like Horry, Steve Kerr, Carlos Beltran, even Gronkowski, though the latter was sure damn good last night)...

"Tampa" Tom Brady (7) > Michael Jordan (6) > Tim Duncan (5) > Babe Ruth (4) > Wayne Gretzky (4) > Bill Russell (11 / 2 [for the era] = 5.5) > Kobe Bryant (5*) > Le James (a few rings but far more failures in the end).

TAMPA TOM BRADY = Undisputable GOAT of all sports, tbh.

    Discuss.
He has bigger asterisks than the 1999 NBA champs

Sh** is rigged. People aren't voting for Serena. That's just utter nonsense.

I was listening to Charles Barkley and he actually made a lot of sense on the subject.

He said MJ was always gonna be the best player in 4 games out of 7. Even if he has an off game, he can always adjust and make up for it in the next game.

Brady doesn't have that luxury. Every time he takes the field in the playoffs, he's facing a game 7 type scenario and he still succeeded at an incredibly high rate, over a 20 year period.

Excuse me but pseudo goat Brady needs to go inflate some footballs and get some stolen signals from other team. Brady won because of sick Tampa Bay defense were the true MVPs.

Currently polls as the most popular athlete in America.

18 years after playing his final game.

You have to take that with a grain of salt. ESPN makes a lot of money off of pimping Jordan.

NFL and "world champions". Who did they beat from Europe?

National League and World champs. Only in America.
