Many of the people who complain about cancel culture still participate in it when the opportunity arises. If you really want to do something about it, it's going to require a shift in at udes and you might have to stand up for somebody you otherwise disagree with. I only know of one example of a President in my lifetime participating in cancel culture. It was the previous one when he proudly called for the cancellation of NFL players, and most of you guys went right along with it.
We can't force country stations to play the Dixie Chicks and Morgan Wallen. We can't require the NFL to put Colin Kaepernick on a roster, or a media network to let Thom Brennaman call live sports broadcasts.
It's always going to be about public pressure one way or the other.
