Honestly, no one the roster can shoot threes reliably right now with Mills slumping hard. Rudy Gay might be our best three point shooter.

    White 30.6%
    Murray 33.3%
    DeRozan 33.3%
    Keldon 32.5%

from 3. This will be a huge issue going forward. It won't work long term

Lack of three - point shooting is definitely hurting, right now.

That, Charlotte's ability to hit three's and Terry Rozier being on fire are keeping them in it.

so surrounding him with drivers who can't shoot 3s is better?
This whole "they can't shoot 3s" thing is becoming a myth. I almost entirely trust any of those guys to make a 3 when open. Each of them are 3 point threats. They may not be sharpshooters, but opposing teams still run the perimeter and respect their shots. There isn't Rondo level disrespect for any of them.

Spurs do realize they can score points in the 3rd quarter after scoring 40+ in the 2nd, don't they?

Like I said, they're not sharpshooters, but they're respectable. The line up would be better by replacing one of them with a shooter, but let's not act like all of them are bad.

If he set good screens that help the perimeter players drive, then why not? His screens also brings the defending big to the perimeter, having a similar affect to having a stretch big.

It's not about them being guarded. It's about them punishing the defense for giving up open 3 point shots. You know the type of shots that all those teams always hit against us.

Lonnie’s been solid tonight since his second stint late in the second. The ideal situation for the Spurs would be he takes Patty Mills role by the off season. Long ways to go though...

Is there a team worse than the Spurs at hitting open 3's? It's really hard to watch.

Walker and Gay aren't pure shooters like Mills. They're more in the mold of scorers. Vassell should prolly be starting in place of White or Murray, but if starting Murray/White alongside Poeltl creates an elite defensive SL it's hard to break them up.
