percentages my friend. Look them up on this website called basketball reference and you will understand my point. There is no point in running out an elite defensive starting line up when no one can hit outside shots consistently. Hitting shots allows you to set your defense

Bruh there's a lot more variables at hand than you think there is. You don't have to be so rigid in your thinking. It's not a case of "no X = failure" or "no Y = success". If it was, then everybody could be an NBA coach and we wouldn't be 15-11 right now.

how many times did we roll out this starting line up? This is like the 3rd game of them starting together. Once teams get some tape to properly scout this line up they will be in trouble unless White comes around and finds his 3-point shot
Bruh, percentages are meaningless in this situation. They shoot at a high level off the bench because it's free-flowing and in Gay's case he's the focal point. Put them in the SL as spot-up shooters and they don't do nearly as well. We've already seen Lonnie suck as a starter because he defers to DePression/Murray. Mills would fit with the SL but then it'd be like last year with Forbes starting.

Lonnie started the majority of the year as a 3-point shooter in the starting line up and hit the 3 consistently. He shot the highest rate of attempts and the best percentage. He didn't come off the bench until recently. I'd rather have White starting too, but he has made 11 3s in 7 games upto now
