Yeah the tweet was definitely about the grid
Or more from the hip spreading of fake news
Yeah the tweet was definitely about the grid
When you share takes from 3rd parties and offer no comment of your own (like Boutons, ducks and Winehole23), you are basically using that as your voice.
One side of this street is Texarkana, Arkansas.
The other side is Texarkana, Texas.
"By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail."
There is a leadership failure in Texas...
This is what was in the tweet.
I showed you that the image was misleading thus the conclusion based on the image is misleading.
It is. Thanks for sharing. And once again, the lack of preparedness for an emergency situation (despite this one was telegraphed well in advance) in the name of muh free market, ends up in avoidable deaths.
I know you're desperate to change the topic, but the whole point of posting the Texasarkana pic was to show the difference between Texas and neighboring states with regard to winter preparedness.
Texas underinvested and got caught short of capacity for a foreseeable weather event.
My example was bad, the difference is real. There was no deception intended and as to the major point -- that Texas has underinvested winterizing its grid -- no one was misled by the bad tweet.

An interesting read.
Thanks for posting.
45 gigawatts offline
18 gigawatts from renewable sources
40% -- disproportionately high
Still, we need the infrastructure improvements regardless of source.
How much of any of it was weatherized, Karrin?
Also post your source if you're not afraid.
What do you think I meant by infrastructure improvements?
Your street.
Now let's see your source.
We discussed all this 4 days ago. Some are just now catching on. You have to wonder how they function without constant supervision and hive handholding.
Sparky with the 24/7 slap fight attempts for almost 20 ing years
Lol "hive"
Poor dmc feels ganged up on
My neighbor has a huge solar array, but he was running a gas generator just.like me.
70° outside. Neighborhood transformer just blew. Time for more firewood!
Anyone have dead car batteries? Had to get one for my mom yesterday.
Get her the rechargeable model dildo... just saying.
https://www.texastribune.org/2021/02...l-greg-abbott/After Abbott convened what his office described as an "emergency meeting" Saturday with lawmakers to discuss the issue, the Public Utility Commission on Sunday met to sign two orders, including one that would direct energy providers to temporarily stop disconnecting customers from power or water because they have not paid.
The commission also signed an order to stop companies from sending invoices or bill estimates to customers “until we work through issues of how we are going to financially manage the situation we are in,” commission chair DeAnn Walker said.
“Disconnect for non pays cannot occur on a Sunday and that’s why we're acting today at this hour is trying to stop any from occurring tomorrow,” Walker said before the three-member commission approved the orders.
The Texas Public Utility Commission takes steps to limit exposure to some customers from the costs of this emergency.

I don't think this is going to end well
But you said you don't read my posts.

Anyone can get a battery backup regardless. Just sayin'.
Ever find that source or are we just going to dismiss everything you say as usual?
If you see your name under last post column 4 or more times, you areNT living your best life.
